A 2012 What? Is it just beeping or is there codes, lights or messages on the dash as well? I'll need more information from you please to help with this.
There are certain times it won't let you use voice recognition, like when you're backing up or before the system has initialized (takes about 20 seconds after you start the car. Have you tried it outside of these instances?
Power on the car to IG-ON or READY. IG-ON will do for this purpose.
Using the Trip/ODO button, set the Trip/ODO display to ODO - not Trip A or
Trip B
Power off the car.
Now power the car to READY (brake on). This is required so that step 6 works
correctly.
Immediately, within 6 seconds of powering on, press and hold the
Trip/ODO button for 20 seconds or more. Do not release, just hold it for 20
seconds.
Then WHILE STILL HOLDING ODO button, shift the "gear" selector from
Park to R, then press the Park button. Now release the Trip/ODO button.
If the last step was successful, b on or b off
should be displayed in the location where the Trip Odometer or Odometer is
normally displayed. b on is beep on, and b off is beep off.
Press the Trip/ODO button to toggle the mode to the one you want.
Now power the car off to exit the toggle mode.
Power the car on to READY and confirm the reverse beep status by shifting to
R. The beep should not be audible if b off was selected, and should be
audible if b on was selected.
maybe if I had more info like model? year? radio? usually you can set the station just by holding in the button you want it at for 5 seconds., till it beeps or the sound skips for a second.
Not knowing how you checked the fuses, I think they need a second look, maybe a continuity check with a multimeter which can often be done with the fuses plugged in.
You can buy a digital multimeter for under $20 US and they are handy around home as well.
You'll find them at Radio Shack, auto parts and home improvement stores or at other electronics outlets.
This sounds much like the 'accessory' fuse is blown or the contacts in the fuse box or on the fuse itself are corroded. The latter can be corrected by removing and replugging the fuse several times.
