MY SHIFTER WANT ENGAGE IM STUCK IN PARK WHAT CAN I DO PLEASE
At a glance it sounds like the button on the shifter handle is not releasing the lock. my guess is a problem at the button or the other end, at the lock mechanism itself. If I had to tackle this, there is 2 ways to start. one is to find the shift cable on the transmission. i would be looking for a cable attached to a lever either on the top or side of the tranny that can be traced back towards the middle of the car & see if it\'s attached. the other place is around the shifter inside the car. car panels can be removed to give better access. you are looking for something simply detached or maybe broken. Good Luck.
Shift release solenoid on shifter most likely is bad or has no power. you can disconnect battery, move sifter to neutral, start engine, you can turn key off only to off position, otherwise repeat of disconnecting battery will be needed. check fuses under driver side steering column. if okay, shift solenoid on shifter is possible at fault. as long as you just go to off position and not put shifter in park, only neutral, you can use vehicle that way until it can be repaired. note:: key will not come out of ignition in off position. lock position only.

For the short term and as a temporary measure, the shift lever can be released by depressing shift lock override button which is in a small hole next to the shifter, typically covered with a small piece of plastic.
A permanent fix is needed though. The transmission shifter has a safety interlock. You must depress the brake to release the interlock in-order to shift into a drive or reverse gear. This system is powered by electricity. The fuse may be blown. Check the fuses for faults.
The brake pedal / brake light circuit must be functioning in order to put the car in gear. Check the blue 10amp brake light fuse. Make sure the wiring in the trunk does not have breaks that may cause the fuse to blow

Check to see if its stop light switch ,as third is a main cause of this sort of problem ,but also it could be the solonoid on top of the shifter thats down so use a multi meter to see if you have power to the solonoid and if no power then check for power to and out of the brake light switch
