What is the firing order for a 1991 crx si

( 1991 CRX Si ) I need the firing order for the cables where they plug in to the distributor cap (?) Everywhere I've looked seems to say the order on engine top where spark plugs are is 4321, facing the engine from the front. Too many variations of the answer to what order they go in on the side. Trying to figure the right answer.

The firing order for your 91 crx should be 1, 3, 4 and 2. You need to identify where the rotor points to when cylinder 1 is at top dead center.
Cylinder number 1 is the one closest to the accessory belts (alternator, power steering , etc, hope this helps.

SOURCE: 1990 honda crx si transmission trouble

this is not the problem of fluid, this is a major problem of transmission. The transmission must be detached from the engine, which you cant do by yourself. the transmission can be repaired but i dont know mechanics in your do it. otherwise you have to replace the transmission.

SOURCE: 1990 honda crx si, 1.6 transmission

No dipstick...you verify by havin car first on level ground then. Then when on stable ground remove the 17mm filler plug on upper passenger side of transmission.if fliud flows out of filler plug than level is fine.if does not flow out whenplug removed.RECOMMEND STRONGLY using a honda brand manual transmission fluid in this transmission..it does wonders for shifting or gearing issues.

SOURCE: How do you install adjustable lowering coilover

NOT NECESSARILY IN ORDER: Remove the 2 nuts from the top of your shock tower under the hood - remove the pivot bolt at the bottom of your shock fork - remove the upper control arm ball joint nut - remove the lower control arm ball joint nut - bang on the thick metal near the ball joints with a hammer (not hitting the rubber or the ball joint's bolts - remove the tie rod ball joint nut and do the same with the hammer - pull the shock and spring assembly out - You might need a spring compressor to take out the stock spring safely - remove the nut on top of the shock - It's recommended that you replace your shocks now - install the new springs according to the directions with the package - get a camber correction kit for your car - put it back together and immediately go pay for an alignment. Good luck.

What is the firing order for a 1991 crx si

All Honda 4 cylinder engines that I have worked on have a firing order of 1342. That is the firing order on your CRX. #1 is the cylinder closest to the timing belt.

My 1989 Honda crx si surges on the rpms. It will go from about 1800- 900 rpms and back again. What's wrong?

It's called hunting. You need to clean out the EAVC unit in the intake manifold. Take off the air filter and housing, run carb cleaner through the intake for 20 minutes or so.

Next bleed the radiator by taking the rad cap off and start the car, let the fan kick in twice (about 20 mins again) and the air bubbles will have been forced out.

Take the car for a spin and the vote for me when it's fixed :)

Try disconect the battery from the car. Wait a minute and reconnect. This should reset the computer. This happened
to my moms Honda FR-V. The mechanic had seen it before.
Its worth a try.
