Engine does not crank and dash gauges, auto headlights and blinkers do not work however radio, blower, wipers and flashers do work. When jumping solenoid engine cranks but does not start.
Going to be bad ignition switch your items that dont work require the key to be <<on<< the items that do work will work on the accessory side of the key.. if the key is <<on<< when you jump the solenoid and does not start it is because the pcm is not powered and the security passkey is not reading a signal.. gm ignitions are common problems on these older cars
I had a buick that this happened to and I stumbled across this site.. might be your issue.. I seen you car was on the list.. hope it help

SOURCE: 1995 pontiac bonneville stalls
I just went through lots of troubleshooting and expense on my 1996. Whenever I would lift my foot off the accelerator and was below about 30 mph, the rpm's would starts jumping around and sometimes it would stall. If I gave it a little gas (accelerator), I could sometimes keep it running. It also backfired once in a while. Starts right back up. Also, if I let it idle while in part, it would die after 1-2 minutes.
I ended up finding a hole in the fuel regulator. About a ~$70 part if you get an AC Delco, but very simple to change.

Hello, you seem to have a problem with your anti-theft system the ignition lock cylinder has two wires that are very small and are common at breaking because every time the ignition switch turns the are being rocked back and forth, or either there is a malfunction in your key, but odds are you will be replacing the cylinder. You will also have to have a new key made. This fix is kind of exspensive so I would advise you to let the dealer do it. Besides when putting the switch in it could be possible to damage the new one so let them have that headache. Thank You
