These are probably enough reasons to steer clear of it . If you could get a history of the vehicle would be a place to start to find if it has been submerged.

Buying a car, the rpm meter doesn't work and the fuel line needs flushed , should i forget buying the car, could this be something more serious

Sounds like it has not been cared for. What else could have been let go? Oil changes etc. The problem with the fuel line is not a big deal but the RPM tachometer could be expensive.

2002 jeep liberty heat only works at high rpm

Sounds like low flow issue. Flush and clean system, PROPERLY! Buy a flush kit, drain system, blow compressed air through, fill with cleaner/water mix, run for 30 min with heat on, drain system, blow out with compressed air, fill with water, run for 30 min, drain, blow out with compressed air, fill with 60% coolant mix.

My RPM meter is not working...it's always on 0.

I used to have a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse with the same symptoms; my mechanic replaced the speed sensor ($65) and the problem went away. Take the car to auto zone and ask them to plug the computer, they normally do it free of charge. If it is the sensor, you may have to buy at the dealer.

RPM Tester: Hello! I am looking for a tester of engine RPM.

Led are easy to read, but is it worth the money? Once you use it you just put it away for how long? Turn on the car, A.C. and tune the rpms to the lowest point of idling without killing the fuel-to-air mixture and where the idles soften any vibrations.

2001 Jeep Cherokee Stalls at times when driving as if it is not getting gas. Power steering and brakes go out and it makes me very nervous. Mechanic can find nothing wrong

the reason your power steering and brakes go out, is because your jeep doen't have enough rpm to keep your hydraulics up. you have variable power steering, and the rpms of your engine have to be high enough for the hydraulics to work.

change out your pcv assembly first. you can by part of it at carquest or advance through motormite/dorman. you can buy the whole assembly at your chrysler/jeep dealer, but it's not cheap there.

Your vehicle is starving for fuel. you have a condition called EGS(ethanol gas syndrome). take out your oxy sensor and clean with Berkline 2+2. The buy SEAFOAM and add it to at least 1/2 tank of Premium gas. Your fuel system is clogged with the goop and with water that this condition causes.

Then you must change your fuel filter(because it's clogged with this also:fuel starvation)

After this. add SF every 3-5000 miles to prevent this from happening again.

Your valves are carbonized, your egr, pcv, and your oxy sensor are also carbonized. anf the corn in your fuel actually create excessive amounts of water. try it.

Gas meter does not work.

no fluid on ground right?then it must be your float on your fuel pump.drain gas from tank and take both ''straps'' off.remove both fuel lines.be carefull some gas is still in lines.on the top of tank there will be a wire connector.unplug it,remove tank from under car.remove bolts on the fuel pump.you might be able to buy float sepertly.if not you might have to buy the it as one unit.

Motor condensation

Yes the condesation is normal with that particular motor. there is an easier alternative. change the Positive Crankcase Valve (PCV). and buy a 5-minute motor flush quart from a parts store. then change the oil again. or take these parts to a different auto shop and start a fresh new relationship. a new auto shop will take your business and be reasonable about their prices too.
