The Rear bumper bar needs to be taken off to change an existing tow bar. I believe there are 4 bolts that are accessed in the rear (inside) that need to be removed. The bumper bar should then come off in one piece. A diagram of the exact position of these bolts would be helpfull
I tried to take my bumper off I kicked it or jumped on it. Nothing worked nothing would move. I tied my bumper to my wife as she is one aloud unit. I gave myself lots of rope and put my foot down. I got to 100 mph before the rope ran out. My big fat solid wife the size of like a Forrest didn't even budge and the bumper came off. Now I can hire out my misses for nothing just pay shipping. If it's international we normally tie to to a ship and she floats there.
Slide under the bumper and look on the back side of it. You will find the bolts that attach it to the body.

It is a pin and shaft setup. Not easy, loads of prying. There is no quick way or an easy way to explain it. Anyone can do it, just study how it goes together.

It depends on what year your car is,
If it's the pre 02 car then inside the boot there are 2 M10 nuts near the tie down eyes, remove these and then pull the bumper tips outwards whilst pulling the bumper rearwards.
If its the post 02 car then remove the torx screws inside the wheelarch 2each side, remove screw from bottom edge of bumper near to wheel arch each side, remove 2 plastic nuts from lower bumper near spare wheel well, remove rear light clusters then remove the screws behind them, unclip ends of bumper from bodywork and pull rearwards.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls

Disconnect the electrical connectors.
