Did you check the fuses in the fuse box under the hood?

fuses are used to prevent the wiring catching on fire and burning the vehicle when there is a short/. Remove the 25 amp fuse and find where the short is and fix it. It may be in the light it self where a wire is touching the earth.

This is a hard one but I'm sure you have a short somewhere. It would be best to take it to a mechanic but if you don't want to do that you have to isolate the short. you can do this by unplugging all of the systems you said were not working and seeing if when you replace the fuse it blows. If it doesn't, replug one at a time and check to see when the fuse blows. Then you will at least know what system it is on. Maybe it is just your cig lighter and you can leave it unplugged and forget about it.

There are 2 or 3 screws under the panel and other one behind the handle (not the one to open the door, the one you grab to close the door) this one is covered by a round plastic tap, remove it first with a small sharp pointed tool, then very carefully try to pull out the entire panel, be very careful not to broke the clips, you also need to "unplug" the wire that opens and close the locks.

The problem is not 100% solved. I have figured out that the problem is in the ground circut for the "Body ECU" system. The only circut effectfed is the door, ignition switch ilumination. If a ground is forced to the circut it works oK.
What I need is a diagram of the internal workings of the "body ECU". I have not yet removed it but it can be much more than a bunch of relays. By the way tell the guy with SD22 Nissan to search SD22. The sole distributor for that product is located in SanFran.
