Cannot put gas into Honda Civic the hose does no want to go in

Put siphoned gas in your Honda ? It may be water in the gas or just dead gas. How long had the other vehicle been setting ?

Having changed the canister vac valve you may have a connecting hose leaking.

The first time the check engine light came on I was at approx 85K miles. Bought it to the dealership for diagnostic and they told me it was the catalytic converter. Can you send me information on how to replace it?

very possible as that hose would not be reading manifold pressure ( vacuum)

what would cause the 2001 honda civic to over heat after brand new water pump theromastat timing belt and alternator blet replace yesterday and when it overheated i pulled over and checked all the fluids i had like oil or transmission fluid all over my under part of motor alittle on my breather and top part of hood , the oil also has a tendency to smell like gas but its not oil/gas mixture please help

its not that hard, I dont have pics, but i can walk you through it.

1. disconnect the rad hoses and drain the coolant somewhere
2. disconnect the fan wires
2. unbolt the top supports (10mm on a honda), it should be 2 bolts on each side
3. pull up on rad
4.put the fans on the new rad
5. put back in slot
6. rebolt and hook up hoses and fan

I NOW THIS PROBLEM, I HAD ONE! THE HOSE GETS OLD AND CRACKS, REPLACE THE HOSE, OR CUT ENOUGH OFF BECAUSE YOU HAVE ROOM TO PLAY WITH. AND PUT THE HOSE BACK ON

Sounds like it may be a vacuum line problem...double check all the hoses and make sure none are off or broken/missing. Check over the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve too and inspect & clean it out with carb clean or something, could be that the valve's sticking

yeah,
get a rubber hose that is just a little bigger than the gas line. slice it and wrap around hole. clamp tight with hose clamp *NOT TOO TIGHT THOUGH* you dont want to bend the line or crack the tubeing.
