Why the light about change oil is blinking in the meter

it has to be reset. instructions in owners manual or internet

Please see if there was any shift in your maintenance schedule. It is possible that the oil, oil filter orr fuel filter is due to be changed. Please also check ont he oil pressure switch for a possible fault.

Try this procedure.

1. Turn the ignition key up one notch. (The dash lights will not be on)

2. Press and hold down the Trip Meter Button next to the odometer.

3. While continuing to press down on the Trip Meter Button turn the ignition key to the next notch or the "Run" position, the dash lights will come on but do not start the engine.

4. Continue to press down on the Trip Meter Button until the Maintenance Required light turns off.

The Maintenance Required light should now be reset.

check the oil level in your engine wow that's a tough one. Check engine oil level top up with oil in low. It does sound like an electrical issue. I would check ground to the engine too. start with that ieither of those do not remedy the problem. take it to a garage.

CHANGE OIL SOON Light
1. CHANGE OIL SOON light will come on when engine oil has broken down enough to require changing. After changing oil, reset oil life display.
2. To reset light, turn ignition on. Open glove box to access oil reset button. Press and hold oil reset button in glove box for at least 5 seconds, but not longer
than 60 seconds. The CHANGE OIL SOON light will flash 4 times to indicate light has been reset.

Engine Oil Replacement Reminder Light
This light acts as a reminder to replace the engine oil.
This light will come on when the ignition key is turned to "ON" and will go off after about a few seconds.
When you drive for about 7200 km (4500 miles) after the engine oil replacement, this light illuminates for about 3 seconds and then flashes for about
12 seconds with the ignition key turned to the "ON" position. If you continue driving without replacing the engine oil, and if the distance driven
exceeds 8000 km(5000 miles), the light will come on. The light will remain on thereafter.
If the light is flashing, we recommend that you replace the engine oil at an early opportunity depending on the driving and road conditions. If the light
comes on, replace it as soon as possible.
Resetting the system
The system must be reset after the engine oil replacement. Reset the system by the following procedure:
1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown.
2. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the "TRIP METER" reset button.
Hold down the knob for atleast 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off.
If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.

The oil gets lighter as the engine heats up.
Was this problem there before you changed the oil? If no, thn the grade of the engine oil you have used (replace) could be of wrong specs., try using a higher grade.

1. Turn the "ENGINE START STOP" or engine switch OFF with trip meter A reading shown.
2. While pressing the trip meter reset button, turn the "ENGINE START STOP" switch or engine switch ON.

Without multi-information display

1. Continue to press and hold the knob until the trip meter displays 000000.

With multi-information display

1. Continue to press and hold the knob until "COMPLETE" appears on the multi-information display.

1. turn engine off , 2. press trip meter reset knob and hold it , turn ignition on , with the engine off, continue to press and hold reset knob until the trip meter displays "00000" , reminder light will turn off . if system fails to reset , repeat procedure . +
