Fuel pump plug under van gets warm to touch when I unplug it and plug back in van starts
Its sticky the capacitor in its old an leaky too or put a capacitor on it to help it out sometimes works. 12000 mfd 25volt say/givertake

Do you hear pump cycle (hum) when you turn key to on position?
Take air intake hose of front of throttle body & spray WD-40 inside throttle body with plate open for a couple of seconds, then see if it will start & run for a second or 2. If it fires up for a short time, it is fuel related problem. Perhaps autoparts store lends or rents fuel pressure gauges, which will confirm if pump is working or not.

Had same exact problem, it was a bad coil. I could not duplicate "no start" problem with water bottle. Replaced coil and problem gone.
Note: There was a noticeable engine misfire at highway speeds on humid days. This accompanied the no start problem.

Check for a bad temperature sensor. To check it, remove it first. Using an ohmmeter measure its resistance, which should decrease when dipped in hot water. If the the resistance remain high and doesnt change then you know it is bad, and you don't end up wasting money on buying one when it is still good.

maybe your iac valve is not working? it takes place of a choke or temp sender to computer could be bad which controls t I.A.C. known as the idle control valve,do you have any codes?
