SOURCE: how do I replace the front wheel bearings on a Mazda 626 1998

The front bearings on a mazda 626 are sealed and you must remove the entire hub assembly to have a shop or dealer install the bearings. The hardest part is you need to remove the center axel nut and it is very tight and is called a stake nut. If you do not have a fairly good amout of skill at repairs, this is one job that is safest left to the pros. Just one missed step can create more damage than you could beleive.

SOURCE: Im trying to replace the alternator on a 1999 Mazda 626

Yes, I experienced the same thing with mine... you have to losen the 2 motor mounts on that side and lift the motor up about 3 ". I worked at a garage so I had access to an engine hoist. Try using a jack from underneath. Nice engineering from Mazda!!!

SOURCE: how can i fix my mazda 626 transmission range

The transmission range sensor aka neutral safety switch is located underneath the air filter on top of the transaxle and very easy to access. Replace this part (around $50) and it will solve your problem.
What happens is this, when your tranny warms up, it disperses heat to the sensor switch and if its faulty or worn out, will send faulty relays to the transmissiom computer module (TCM) and makes the transmission shift irratically (OD to 3rd and back while driving at freeway speeds). You tranny is not overheating like most people believe, its the switch. Mechanics are telling alot of people that their tranny needs replaced. Watch Out For These People!! They only want your money!!

The horn in my 1999 Mazda 626 doesn't work. My mother's mechanic says he can't find the horn anywhere under the hood. He even lifted the car to look underneath the engine but still can't seem to find it....

The horn is located on the front right corner of the car. Behind the bumper. Before you hunt the horn, try replacing the relay in the under bonnet fuse box. It will be labelled on the fuse box lid. Cheaper and a lot less work!
Raise the front of the car and support it on axle stands.
Remove the front right wheel and then the front half of the wheel arch liner. The horn will be bolted to the chassis bar in front of the wheel.
*Please note some models will have it mounted on the LEFT side of car depending on which country it was sold in.*

How to remove a L/Front fender on a 1996 Mazda 626

Fenders are bolt on. Remove the plastic inner wheel well. Rais the hood. Remove bolts along too, in door jamb and inner wheel well. Most vehicles also require removing the front bumper cover, headlight assembly and sometimes the grill. You should be able to see the bolt hole locations on the replacement fender. Once you install it do not tighten up the bolts. You'll need to align the fender til the hood to get a narrow consistent seam then tighten the bolts.

I am trying to replace the small lights that illuminate the rear license plate. Can you tell me the best way to get them in and out? Where can I find the fuse box? I have a 98 Mazda 626, thanks!

if it is situated in the bumper, you just take a flat (thin) screwdriver and lift the lens, then replace the bulps and press the lens back on

Ho do i replace th front bumper skin on a 06 pontiac g6

Look for bolts behind the skin looking from under the car. Then note how the sides are connected, there may just be clips in this area. Is quite simple just need to study behind the bumper skin and look up inside the skin in front and both sides.

1994 4 door mazda 626 need to locate where the water pump is on this car

The water pump is located at the front of the engine ( where the timing belt is) To replace it you will need to remove the timing belt covers and the belt. If you have not tackled this sort of problem before i would recommend you purchase a workshop manual ( Haynes or similar) and that will show you the correct way to do it. Best of luck.
