Turns over but won't start fuel filter good, can't find inertia switch. Not located where suggested from other sights. Is there a inertia switch for this make and model?
No inertia switch. That was a common problem on these cars., The alarm box gave problems and it is what is causing the fuel pump to shut off. Good luck finding one. The easiest and cheapest way to fix is to give it ignition power when you turn ignition on. If you want to be a bit safer, buy a ford KA inertia switch, secure it at the l/f kick panel directly onto the body (It works with shock waves) to cut of fuel in case of an accident Luckily you don't have to take the tank out, you just remove the rear seat and the metallic cover. .

Check the Fuel injection system (injectors) and the intake manifold. It might also be wise to check the alternator as well as the starter coil and also the electronic distributor
SOURCE: need the location on car where is the fuel filter
The fuel filter is attached to a bracket located in the left rear of the
engine compartment. Look down in the space between the master cylinder
fluid reservoir and the rear of the air filter compartment, you will be
looking at the top of the fuel filter cannister. It's very hard to get
at.
