Hi 2006 ford focus 1.6 tdci leaking injectors and carbon build up. How to clean it and would it be possible to do it myself any help would be great. Thanks in advance

the injectors have to set properly using specialized equipment after new tips are fitted so take them to a specialist diesel shop and have the job done properly ( cost around $60.00 a tip plus 1 hour labor generally)
if the carbon build up is around the injector body in the head
clean it out using a scraper of sorts
always fit new copper washers under the injector body on reassembly
there is not much you can do for carbon in the combustion chamber other than to pull the head but thee is every possibility that any excess carbon will be burnt off when the injectors are operating correctly

Gmc keep flooding out new injector

IF you fitted anew injector then I hope that you used a new seal under the tip of the injector as this may be where the flooding is coming from

Is there a easy way to install fuel injectors while they are on the fuel rail?

If you can see the injectors, you'll need to disconnect the wiring harnesses from the injectors... (there is also usually a boot over the injector).
You then need to disconnect the injector from the fuel rail. (careful not to strip the little fitting).
You can then use a wrench or injector socket to remove the injector. Make sure you replace the gaskets and seals when installing the new injectors. (might need teflon tape around the pipe fitting where the injector feeds from the fuel rail).

300zx leaking fuel injector

You need to lubricate the o ring prior to fitting the injector. Without the lubrication the injector does not slide into the fitting and can roll in the groove and get snagged and damaged. A thin film of engine oil will fix it but also check the sleeve where the injector sits in case it has a burr or was nicked during the removal process first time.

How to replace the fuel injectors on a 2002 Tahoe?

To Install:
  1. Lubricate the NEW fuel injector O-rings with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the O-rings on the fuel injector.
  3. Install a NEW retainer clip on the fuel injector.
  4. Install the fuel injector in the injector socket with the electrical connector facing outward. The retainer clip locks onto a flange at the fuel rail injector socket.
  5. Install the fuel rail.
NOTE: Use care in removing the fuel injectors in order to prevent damage to the electrical connector pins on the injector and to prevent damage to the nozzle. Service the fuel injector as a complete assembly only. The fuel injector is an electrical component. DO NOT immerse the fuel injector in any type of cleaner.

Bosch Injectors for a 1972 Citroen DS 21 IE

If you put larger injectors in the engine without the proper fuel management then all you are going to do is run rich and get horrible gas mileage. The only way you will need larger injectors is if you have forced induction or a full motor high compression build.
