94 cutless ciere wont start, replaced fuel pump and fuses and still wont start, owner is convinced it is the fuel pump not running

If it is a cutlass supreme, it should be in a relay box on the passenger side near the headlight, or on the driver side near the strut tower.
The box lids should be marked and the location should also be in your owners manual.

I am working on a 94 cutlass ciera.It quit and wouldn't start.Fuel pump fuse was blown.Replaced the fuel pump and filter.The car started and ran everyday for a week.Now the fuse is blowing again.i changed...
sounds like you could have something cloging the line so fuel pump is working to hard. try the filter see if its cloged up,maybe drain the tank and flush the system out.but you could be right with the pump itself going out again rare but could happen.good luck.

1994 Cutlass Ciera has the fuel pump located in the fuel tank. 1996 and later units could be removed via removing the back seat and an access cover but your year requires the tank be removed to replace the fuel pump.

Why is my fuel pump blowing fuses on my 94 cutless ciera s, i have fixed the burnt wires under the hood but it still pops the fuse.
Check the wires all the way to the pump. I bet there is another bad place in the wire insulation somewhere that is shorting against the body or frame.

I would check the cam sensor,and it is most likely the crankshaft sensor,that is the problem.

I have a noisy harmontic balancer? When the belt is on only, When I take belt off noise goes away?
Try re-newing the belt to see if it helps, but I think you will need a new harmonic balancer fitted.
