It sounds like it to me. Your van has a serpentine belt which is pulled tightly by the tensioner pulley, hint the name "tension" pulley. If this is defective you will experience the problems/symptoms you have listed, hard steering, over heating, and the clunking, which must be the defective tension pulley. All those problems should resolve immediately after it is replaced. Don't forget to replace the serpentine belt too, for preventative measures. How this helps...

have it put on a lift and the shocks and struts checked, they may be loose or defective.

SOURCE: clunking/rattling noise in the front end (2000 chrysler 300m)
you need to get the front end checked. it sounds like a suspension problem possibly your struts or sway bar but it could be a more serious problem. hope this helps
SOURCE: 2001 chrysler voyager makes loud noise when
the shaft itself cannot be lubricated. at the bottom of the steering column under the dash move the carpet out of the way as much as possilble and look at the rubber boot, spraying somm sylicone lube in there will get rid of a rubbing noise. if it is making a clunking noise when steering look at the tie rods for loosesness. if it clunks when hitting bumps look at the ball joints and more than likely the stabilizer bushings at the lower controlarms and the body where it is attatched are worn out, this is quite common..
SOURCE: 2005 chrysler 300 heater fan is making noise
yes it is. most heater fans on chrysler products are real easy.you might find a dead mouse or mouse nest in there throwing fan off balance
