Alternator fuse lexus

I have the same year and model Lexus. I bought it in 2007. Great car.

Wiring diagram in the link. It should have come complete, remove the old and install / connect the new one.

Fuse 26 (Radio 1) Fuse 42 (Radio 2). The most complicated Lexus of all. I was at the launch, and the first time I saw an engine with NO access, all covered up.. I love my ES330 and was at the dealership yesterday and 2 grand lighter!

make a sketch of the belt before removal, helps with refitting. if there is a belt tensioner release it , if auto tension fit a socket and pry bar to the alternator pulley nut and release tension and remove belt, disconnect battery and remove alternator bolts.

Two locations for fuses. 1 under the bonnet near the battery. 2 in the dash above the bonnet release. All are clearly marked

Two 8mm bolts secure this fuse to fuse box. They are accessed from under the fuse bx which will require removing the box itselt from location near battery and inverting to undo.

In most car models I have had to remove the fuse box retaining bolts and lift the fuse box up and go under the fuse and remove 2 small bolts that retain the heavy alternator fuse in place, it is the only fuse that is bolted in to the box from under the box. Always disconnect the battery negative cable before you start work.

FUSE LINK LOOKS LIKE A FUSE.JUST USE FUSE PULLER OR PAIR OF SMALL NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS TO REMOVE FUSE OR FUSE LINK TO ALTERNATOR..BESURE THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE IS DISCONNECTED FIRST TO KEEP SHORTING OUT OTHER FUSE LINKS AND FUSES IN THE CIRCUIT.TURN OFF RADIO FIRST BEFORE REMOVING NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE

could be your alenater, your check you cable wires for good connection.

be sure to have battery disconect before you tray, star by unbolting fuse bow from inner fender and turn it arround so you can see it from bottom, you will found your fuse is bolted to supply wires, ther you have unbolt an bolt new fuse, reverse removal and you set.

The 100 Amp alternator fuse is blown under the hood in the fuse block, it has a clear plastic cover on it for inspection, the designation is marked inside the fuse panel. This fuse is bolted in inside the fuse box, the fuse box has to be removed and opened to get to the bolts that connect the fuse in.
