Abs system light coming on on the dash.

abs light on dash panel should only light for two seconds upon starting of engine , then go out . if it comes on and stays on then this indicates a fault has been detected in your abs system , by body control module (fault can be any where on car) a code reader will be required to know reason for abs fault

check fuses..If the fuse blows the light comes on and the ABS system is not working..Or possible the abs motor is shot. In any rate it is a good idea to look into it as soon as possible. You ABS system is not working. You still have brakes but the anti lock system that prevents skids will not work

When your abs light comes on it means that something is wrong with you ABS system. Sometimes the abs sensor get durty and can make the ABS light come on in the dash.

Lights come on in the dash to warn you of problems with various systems in your car. That ABS light is telling you there is something wrong with your ABS system and the other light is reported to be the transmission control module indicator light. You will have to get the vehicle trouble codes scanned to know for sure what's wrong with the car.

You can disconnect it by just pulling the fuse out for the ABS sytem. The fuse will be located at the end of the dash on the drivers side. Note that the ABS light on the dash will come on that will indicate that your ABS system is not working. You can ether live with it on, or pull the light out from the instrument panel. the abs system does not have any thing to do with regular brakes. the brakes should work just fine anyway. the abs system maintains vehicle control on most surfaces.directional stability, and optimum deceleration under severe braking conditions.

one of your abs sensor is bad or the abs motor,go to local shop to diagnose which sensor,shop usually charge $ 60 to diagnose abs system,good luck, let me know ..
