I put in gas over half a tank. When I try to restart the car, it fails to turn over. What's the problem?
Could be a fuel pump problem.
I discovered the solution to my own problem. Figuring that it was fuel-related, I looked toward the fuel pump. Being electrically operated, I turned my attention toward the fuel pump relay fuse. It was worn and in need of replacement. After replacing the fuse, my car had no starting or running issues.

yes, but after a while it should be alright. when gas goes down.

Your fuel pump is going bad. It is in the gas tank. it shuts off when you are low on gas, because it gets hot. when you add enough gas to cover the pump, then it runs cooler, and will work. you can get by a month or so,just keeping your tank filled...but eventually the tank need to be removed, the pump pulled from tank and replaced with a new one.

You probably have a bad sending unit for the fuel level in the tank. this would cause the gauge to be erratic when the level is below 1/2 tank and the float is moving around much more than when full. The oil pressure gauge problem could be caused buy a loose wire connection or a faulty sending unit.
