My 92 lumina z34 3.4 twin dual cam was bought about 5 months ago, and I'm now having big problem from vacuums not hooked up at all, to a real big gas smell and its not leaking. Yesterday while driving it, it died out when I hit the brakes and now it will start with the gas pressed, when I let off it dies, any help on this would be great.

SOURCE: 1999 Regal GS Super charged, Starts, runs 3-5 sec and dies

i gaurantee that it is the fuel pump ressistor up on the passenger side front behind head lamp assembly you will find the connector with two wires going to it. no need to remove old one install new one and connect wires to new one leave old in. dealer only part but not expensive. dont belive dealer when they try to talk you out of it. This is a kit to relocate a ressistor that has been installed in a poor location. I promise this will fix it. My wifes car did the same thing, took 20 minutes to fix and that is only because i am an electrician and am finicky about where to locate wires etc. the kit comes with installation instructions however they are a little vague. trust me. easy fix. my dealer tried to get me to leave car for repair and said it sounds like the theft detterent system. they were wrong and i was right. dont trust em

SOURCE: 92 Nissan Pathfinder brake lights stuck on

Change the brake light switch on the brake pedal arm. Go down to the parts store and ask for a new brake liight switch for your Pathfinder and look up under the dash where the brake pedal arm goes and you will see the switch. You will need to unplug the wires to your old one and disconnect it and install the new one the same way. It is pretty much self adjusting once the brake pedal is released. If the brake light does not go out adjust the switch pin to be longer so it will depress when the pedal is released

SOURCE: truck won't start and died while driving

Likely the O2 sensor is seeing an overly rich fuel mixture and since it's beyond its range it is throwing a code. I don't remember ever seeing an O2 sensor shut off the engine. I'd look over the fuel pressure regulator temp sender and throttle position sensor. Possible one of those is sending mis-information and causing rich condition. There are other items that can do this as well but only go there if you strike out with what I suggested.

I have a 93 Chevy lumina z34 3.4 twin dual cam. When it idles the tach bounces, it sounds like its miss firing. It has a verynoticable power loss as well any idea why?

run fault codes to check for sensor and electronic faults. Have a compression test done to check for gasket-head and valve problems.

I have a 1992 chevy lumina 3.4L engine and I had to replace the starter. I am putting the starter in and I need to know how many wires to hook up? My dad thinks there's a wire missing.

Dual overhead cam (euro)?

the small purple wire will go to the small terminal on the starter. there should be 3-4 other wires that attached to the large terminal of the starter.
