Can you please give me the exact torque for cylinder head and even the proper sequence

Use new bolts, tighten in the following stages
1. 20Nm
2. 100Nm
3. wait 3 mins
4. slacken bolts 1&2 retighten to 20Nm +110 degrees
5. carry out stage 4 for bolts 3,4,5 & 6
then bolts 7,8,9 &10
Sequence,
8 4 1 5 9
7 3 2 6 10
Bolts 9 & 10 are flywheel side of the engine.

my alldat book says 20nm and then 240? with new bolts,what a load of rubbish ,clean the bolt holes out and make sure no water or oil down them ,do in sequence and tight first pass with a rachet then a big bar or in your case the torque wrench and around 65lbs for a petrol will suffice

Since you didn't say which engine you have, I've pulled torque specs for 3 different engines. Also, since I can't include a diagram showing the relative locations of the numbered head-bolt locations, it would be a good idea for you to purchase a vehicle specific repair guide that will show this info.
Take particular note about the TTY (Torque to Yield) bolts used on 2 of the 3 engines shown. It is said that new head bolts MUST BE USED when head is replaced or re-installed to obtain the proper torque.
