How do you set ignition timing for a 1984 dodge rampage

How do I remove the starter on a 1984 dodge rampage? It is really hard to get to.

buy a universal one from Kragen, and yes it had one

You will need to check your timing gear and see if it is worn out. You will have to replace the timing cover gasket and a new timing chain.

It's probably inside the frame just ahead of the rear axleon the passenger side. You should be able to follow the fuel line from the gas tank and run into it.

You'll still need to unlock the steering wheel and shift lever. This can only be done with the key or by breaking the collar for the keyswitch. Either it is very difficult, and best left to the hands of a proffesional.

This is a case of pure coincidence. It just went bad at the same time you made the repair. Just a fluke,no worries.

possibily steering has to be bleed air in system
