SOURCE: SLIP LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON AND MAKE THE CAR LOSE POWER

Its supposed to do that if the car is really in a skid.
If you are getting the light just driving down a dry road, you would need to have the body computer scanned for trouble codes.

Esp light on 2001 aclass

Hi there lose of power steering and the eps light coming on could be the power steering pump is broken or near stuffed so will require a new pump. The other reason is that your power steering oil level is to low and needs toping up. Also check that the drive belts driving the power steering pump are tight and not slipping.

Hope this helps.

Loud noise from pully or alternator..when driveing lights go way dim lose some power but after a minute or so everything comes back to normal for a little bit

Good afternoon, it sounds like a slipping fan belt......as this would reduce the friction and amount of turns that the alternator needs to do to create voltage..........then as the belt warms up, the fibres expand and the ruber becomes sticky and it stops slipping....therefore the problem is always worse when it is cold.......

I hope this helps

Stibilatrak light comes on and I lose power..

the stabilitrac system will turn the light on when its activated. Driving in wet/snowy roads will cause one or more wheel to spin as it slips on wet roads, this condition is normal.
I'm sure once your on flat even road without the possibility of your drice wheels to spin the light will turn off on its own.

92 saturn sl squeals and loses power

the shift to d2 light comes on when batt. voltage gets low enough that all of the sytems can not function properly. the noise is your bel slipping, your battery looses charge and shift to d2 light comes on to tell you to leave trans in drive 2 so it dose not have to use batt voltage to shift. replace your belt and tensioner if your alternator is ok.
