2001 Hyundai Tiburon making a type of whirring noise in front end

Almost sounds as if something is rubbing against the wheel. If I put the car in neutral while moving the sound is still there and slows down as the car slows down. When going straight or turning left the sound is prominent, however when I make right hand turns on curves the sound subsides. Then when I straighten up again the whirring sound comes back. I am thinking wheel bearing or possibly CV joint. Any suggestions or possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Stay away, those need to be pressed into place with a hydraulic press, it is best to leave that to a qualified repair shop

Trans axle

Not a problem... I've seen it happen the other way around (depends on the difference between the friction generated by one brake pad/caliper (right/left side) compared to the other against the rotor). The Trans is the 'SLIP DIFFERENTIAL' type.. if the noise is loudest when one wheel is turning while the other is NOT, THEN stop the wheel that's turning to see if the noise goes away when the other wheel turns. If it doesn't, then the problem is in the differential. If it does, further diagnosis is needed.

Noise coming from front of car

It sounds exactly like a wheel bearing problem. The right side its seems would be the problem. When you turn right it puts more pressure on the bad bearing making it louder. I would suggest replacing both. If on is gone the other one isn't far off. Hope this helps

Front-end noise

If the noise is coming from the right front when making a left turn it would be a wheel bearing if you can narrow down where the sound is coming from i would check that.
