SOURCE: What is the firing order for a 2003, Ford F 150, with a 4.2 L V6

The best way to find it is to look on your intake and it should tell ya. It should be 1,3,5,6.2.4 and it depends on you motor too. First check and see where the number one is on ya cap. It will say. Start there and check which way tour motor turns by taking the distrib. cap off and have someone turn it over for you. This id the way the wires will have to go back on the cap. Also the heads are marked with the number on them just under the valve cover. This will help when putting the wires back on. One thing to remember to is odd on left even on right. That is when you are setting behind the wheel.

What is the firing order for a 2006 ford tauras

Sir,
There are two firing order sequences for the FORD V-6. It depends on which engine you have. The first is 1-4-2-5-3-6. The second is
1-4-2-3-5-6. The in-line six cylinder engines use: 1-5-3-6-2-4. You should look at the intake manifold to see which firing order your car uses. The firing order is normally stamped or embossed on the top of the intake manifold.
