SOURCE: 1990 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup. Windshield wipers, Cruise Control

May want to look at replacing the wiper circuit board. It is located on the firewall adjacent to the wiper motor and has a some what square black cover with 3 torx screws and wireing harness pluged into the side.We had a truck that every time you washed it the wipers would stay on until it dryed out.You can try removing it and spaying it down with contact cleaner just watch the brease on the two contact tips.Well hope this helps.

SOURCE: My 1990 GMC sierra pu dies randomly while driving

COULD BE BAD IGNITION COIL OR MODULE.IT COULD BE BAD FUEL INJECTOR OR INJECTORS.CLOGGED FUEL FILTER. A BAD DISTRIBUTOR CAP ROTOR + BAD PLUGS AND WIRES WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS AND BAD FUEL WITH WATER IN IT.

How in the hell do I get the timimg right on a 1988 gmc sierra

You disable timing advance at the ignition module. Then adjust distributor angle for 0 degrees TDC. This should make for 10 degrees at normal idle when timing advance is reenabled.

Search WWW for specifics to engine.
