reach up under your bumper and you should be able to just twist the socket and pull the bulb out. If not, you'll need to remove the two screws on the back of the housing that is securing it to the bumper and then remove housing

SOURCE: 2002 Chevy Tahoe: Replacing Bulbs in Rear High Mount Stop Light?

Yes you can do this your self. When you open the back hatch their should be a way to take out the whole back light system, which then you can replace each individual light.

SOURCE: What happens when my check engine light comes on?

Hello. Your vehicle and most other recent ones have on an on-board computer called an Electronic Control Module or ECM. The vehicle computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and your car needs to be looked at. To properly diagnose what is wrong, you need to take your car to a mechanic or a dealer. The technician at the dealership or a garage will then hook up the scanner to the car computer and retrieve the stored trouble code(s). Then he (she) will look it up in the service manual provided by a car manufacturer. The service manual contains the list of possible codes (about few hundreds) and describes what each code means and what needs to be tested. The code itself doesn't tell exactly what component is defective - it only indicates where to look, what engine parameter is out of normal range. The technician will have to perform further testing to pinpoint a defective part.
Recently many auto parts stores, such as auto zone, offer the free service of scanning your computer and pinpointing the reason why your check engine light comes on. I recommend that you start there as it is free. Regards, Joe

How can i remove tail light assembly to change my bulb.in my Chevy Tahoe 2006.

2 screw, they are torx head, so you will need a torx driver, any parts store will have them to sell. remove the 2 screws and while pulling back, take your hand from the side and whack the light lens towards the middle of the truck, this will dislodge the clips.

Change a fog light for a 2006 LR3

There is a circular cover surrounding the fog light assembly that simply pops off. Behind that cover there are three maybe four torx style screw that need to be removed, then simply just disconnect the electrical connector to the fog light assembly.

2006 Tahoe Parking Light Replacement

If I remember corrctly( I do get the years mixed up once in a while) When you open the hood and look at the top of the headlight assembly you will see either one or two black levers. Pull up on this or these and you will be able to swing the headlight assembly out towards the front of the vehicle, you will now have access to the light.
