No sound coming from in car dvd player - 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 1500

If you have an active headphone jack, just plug in some PC speakers. I don't know how best to mount them or what kind of volume you'd get out of them but that would be quick, cheap, and easy.

check plug from radio to wiring harness could be loose dvd player is separate from the radio, sounds like something loose in radio. you can pick em up cheap at wrecking yards

You put the radio on 88.3 FM and the sound comes through the stero.

Unplug the battery for one hour and plug back it, it should work.

Did u splice the connections or did u utilize the factory harness?

My grandcarvan sxt came with a remote for the DVD system and wireless headphones from KOSS. You have to press the headphone button on the remote to change it to headphones otherwise it comes through the main system. With the button pressed we can listen to cd or radio in front while they wear the headphones in back. You might need the remote to change it back to main system. The headphones from Koss are lifetime guaranty and not too expensive.

I have a 2005 with DVD - but do not have the wireless headphones. I use the AUX button on the front radio to switch between FM/AM/and the DVD Player. I do have headphones jacks in the roof console by the DVD player, but have never used them.
