Lwhere is oil pressure sending unit on 2006 dakota v6 located?

The oil pressure sending unit is located next to the oil filter

go to CTC and buy a service manual for 2001 dodge Dakota 4.7 litre engine there will be 2 oil pressure sending units one that is for the gauges in the dash and the other for the oil pressure sending unit mounted on engine

The sending unit should be near the distributor on top of the engine.

That could be from not having any oil pressure "oil pump failure, clogged filter, etc" or from a faulty oil pressure sending unit. More tests would need to be performed but is it really an oil pressure light or is it the change oil light. More info would be needed

On 2.7L V6 engines, the sending unit is located at the left end of the rear side of the block. To access it, remove the heat shield.
