I dont think so. because one thing doesnt make the tire have a tear. replace both shocks and check for any kind of kinks around the outside of the frame

SOURCE: fluid leak on rear right side near tire.

if it is sure break fluid. then you have to change break master cylinder, if your car rear wheel drive that might be shaft oil and vibration come from a worn rear wheel bearing.

SOURCE: rear main seal is leaking on a Ford Mustang 2003 V-6

In order to replace the rear main seal u have to pull the transmission out to access it, u will need a special seal installer tool to install the new rear main "full circle seal", it u don't use the special ford tool the seal will leak again, also if there is a groove worn ion the crankshaft the crank must be repaired or replaced or the or the seal will leak again, so this is avery diff job, a 9 on the scale of 1-10 with 10 being the mos difficult.

SOURCE: refill gear oil in rear differential on 2003 ford mustang gt

The differential will have a plug in the driver's side of the housing that is removed with a 3/8" drive ratchet or square drive. Be sure you know what type of fluid is recommended for your vehicle. It will depend on whether it is a locking differential or standard.

SOURCE: Have a leak in my Mustang 2003 convertable.

I have had this problem before, remove the inner trim panel on the rear look down at the bottom of the fender well there is a drain hole there, it is probably plugged up, it is there to drain rain water out of the car that comes in when it rains. Hope this helps, let me know.

My 2000 ford mustang gt v8 make a sweeky noise in the rear tires after even after changing rear brakes and shocks.

The squeaky noise can be several things, but usually it's how your pad contacts the rotor provided it's rear disc. Check the caliper slides, if it's not sliding back and forth, you'll wear the inboard side pad and it will squeak.

My 2003 lincoln navigator just left garage and now it leans completely to the left

This vehicle has a air ride suspension option which can read the height of the vehicle, when weight is added the suspension will compensate by appling air to the front and rear shocks. When weight reduced it will lower by venting air from the shocks. If the entire vehicle sits low there is a problem with the air compressor circuit (quite often water in the system and freezes causing damage to the compressor). In your case if only one side is low, check the front and rear shocks, the lowest wheel probably has a leaking shock and can't rise.

965 Ford Mustang 2+2 fastback. I noticed a hose hanging rear

The hose is likely the differential vent hose. If you get under there and take a look around the rear end you will likely see where it was originally secured.

2003 Pathfinder SE is bouncing

> Does this vehicle have shock absorbers or leaf springs?
It would be either leaf or coil springs; shock absorbers serve to prevent that continued bouncing and these may be simply shot.
The crude way of checking shocks still works somewhat:
- Position yourself on each corner of the vehicle and through repeated pushing down and letting the corner come back up, get some momentum and then let go at the bottom of the cycle.
If the shocks (which may be located within coil springs- McPherson struts) are still effective, the vehicle should rise slightly once and then settle. If they are blown, there will be some continued 'overshoot.'
The leaked fluid can be checked for odor; brake fluid is pretty distinctive while lubricants will smell somewhat like oil or grease. This could be from a shock but most are now gas filled rather than with a type of hydraulic fluid.

Bleed the brake lines

start at the passenger rear tire, have someone PUMP up brakes and hold pressure on them, release pressure by locating small bleeder screw, loosen screw 1/4 turn, brake fluid/air should come out, after brake petal reaches floor tighten bleeder, repeat process until only brake fluid comes out. go to driver side rear repeat, go to pass. side front repeat, go to driver side front repeat, after each bleeding make sure you check brake fluid in reservoir.

Passenger side window goes up to far, why? the window rubs the cars trim over window when closing door....2003 mustang gt is car,i took door apart and noticed what window sits on at base/bottom looks to...

I think that there are supposed to be set screws in these, but don't quote me, you'll have to push the window back into the cradle and look for where the set screws should be and replace them with an equal size screw or bolt.
