Hi my hazards of my 2004 golf mk1 started flashing continuously and cannot control it. How do i fix it?

it is one of the drive belts if you give it a quik rev the noise goes away if this is the case have a feel wich belt is the most loose and tighten.

The first thing you may want to do is to replace your coolant temperature sensor. This is arguably the most important sensor on the vehicle, since it tells the vehicle's computer how hot or cold the engine is. What's most likely happening, is the sensor is sending an incorrect reading of temperature, making the computer think it's warmer than it really is, causing the car to attempt to start too lean.

The sensor is generally under $20 and is easy to purchase and install. It's usually located near the thermostat housing with 2 wires going to it.

Hi, it is in the relay box above the fuses on the right hand side under the steering. Should be marked 66 or 99.
