How do I get the MP3 player to work in a 2007 Nissan Quest?

you said CAN , i bet you meant CAN'T or CAN NOT. right?
the AUX port is just a line input, analog audio input,
it dont know MP3 .
it only amplies the analog audio found there.
you connect any device, to AUX. push play on the device.
then put car radio in to AUX input mode and play. the audio.
that is all there is to it.
the external device does all the heavy lifting, reading a file, and decoding it (mp3 decode) and then sends raw analog audio out.

the cable is sold and radioshack, or walfart or many other stores,
Target, most MP3 players, come with this cable,
they use mini phone plugs, stereo, type,. (3 contacts)

If my 2006 eclass has aux as an option on the audio system, does that mean there is a jack somewhere in the car to plug my ipod into?

yes, i use mine all of the time... the jack is located in your glovebox. all you need is a cable that has two male ends that you plug into the headphone jack of your ipod and the other end in your aux jack in the glovebox (normally on the top i believe).

How do I connect and play my iPod in a 2011 dodge charger?

If there is no auxiliary port on the front of the stereo, then you will have to try and find an iPod interface cable that you can wire into the factory stereo. You can use the FM modulator type of iPod adapters, but the sound isn't as good as when it is hard wired. You can look for the iPod interface kits online at a lot of car audio stores. Try www.sonicelectronix.com
Hope this helps. Good luck!

I was given an Ipod Touch for my Bday and I want to use it in my 2006 Honda Odyssey EX. The radio has an AUX/XM button but I can't locate the input for the AUX. Would you be able to tell me where the input...

There are 2 possibilities here:
Most Odysseys I've seen, have a small compartment on the left side of the third row that opens up to show a set of inputs (Audio and Video) as well as 3 headphone jacks with volume control.

WHat I did for mine was I purchased an extra long RCA audio cable on one side and a Stereo mini-plug on the other. I connected it back there where mentioned. Then I routed the cable under the rear door plastic plate and under the driver's seat, where it reappears under the center table.

Whenever I want to connect my iPod Touch, I just grab the plug, connect my iPod then raise the volume of the iPod all the way to the max, put the radio in XM/AUX and play away.

2) The second way to do this is a bit more complex, and will be the needed way if you do not have the A/V connectors in the back:
You will need to pull out the radio and the auxiliary connections should be in the back of the radio, or connected to the main radio plug.

I would recommend taking the van to an audio shop to do this installation.

Hope this helps!

Aux input for MP3 player

I'am an M.B. tech- I do not beleive that this radio is mp3 compatable- iknow that the input you are refering to is used for ipod use. It very well could be that the head unit has to be programed(basically informed0 for an mp3- i would call the service dept. and ask to talk to ther best audio tech savay mechanic. Most likley the service writer wouldn.t know or give you false information because they do not stay on top of all the little tecnical changes. This fiber optic system has many programing features- most have to be done with as sds laptop(dealer software only) good luck

Can I add a jack to play an ipod to my factory 6 cd stereo?

I believe so, there are some audio jacks that are converters from a power source, such as, a lighter jack.
