The key won't turn in ignition. If I wiggle key around or take emergency brake off, sometimes it will "unlock" and turn to start. Budget friendly suggestions?
SOURCE: Key won't turn in Ignition
Have you tried moving the gear shift back and forth? The shifter is connected by a cable to your ignition switch. It keeps folks from putting the car in neutral when the steering and ignition is locked, so they don't take the car when you're not around. If moving the shifter helps, then maybe that cable has stretched some and needs replaced. If not, then perhaps an ignition lock cylinder and key are in order.

hey there bud nice to meet you i have to tell ou i have a few suggestions for ya er e. one you can either replace the ebrake cable you have have (some tend to wear out over time from all the exxcessive pulling and can stretch over time ) or two you depending on what car you have you can cut a 1/6 - 1/4 inch of the brake cable and recrimp it in order to try and refine the tention in the cable hope this helps and good luck J- Hirons
make sure the car is in park
