I have a 2000 grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo v8 came to assist as I was coming to a stop the engine everything just shut down would not start for about 15 minutes it would turn over but would not start after about 15 minutes is started right up its been running fine this is happened to me twice what do you think the problem to be

I think you should buy repair manual first for your vehicle after that it will be easy for you to solve the problem. Check the link may be you will find something useful here

SOURCE: 1999 4.0L Jeep Grand Cherokee shuts down after 20-30 minutes.

I'd suggest the ignition control module, however I'd have a certified mechanic check it out just in case...

Is it overheating? If the engine gets hot, it will shut everything down until it cools.

My check battery light comes on as well as check gages. Coolant is full and has brand new battery. Just had an oil change. Once I turned off the jeep and started it and the battery Gage went back to...

Could be the voltage regulator, loose drive belts, corroded or faulty battery cables or ground strap(main grounding wire).
