Cant find where to add freon in my 2002 lincoln ls v8

was a/c and compressor on when you tried to add freon or is compressor even coming on test to make sure compressor is coming on to add freon and if on check and inspect blend door for debris or actuator problem

Look for C107 on the diagram.

you don,t put freon in, your local auto store will use a machine to check your A/C System and top up as needed,

Had the same problem with my 2002 Lincoln LS, it was a bad wheel speed sensor. The right front wheel bearing had some play in it, so I had the hub assembly replaced. The hub assembly comes with a new wheel speed sensor attached. After I replaced the hub assmbly with sensor, the ABS and Traction Control lights went off. No problem since!

That is almost a silly question

V6 or V8 you can see the alternator
on the bottom front passenger side
of engine.

You know all vehicles have a belt that drives
the alt & other accy's

Not finding means you never looked

Three on the trans case, too close
to the floor pan to get to

Some others through out the veh

Also a trans solenoid pressure pack,
inside the pan. (common failure part)

it is located on the bottom of the vehicle. you must take the driver's side tire off and the inner skirt to get to it. you don't have to have a professional do it. go to your local auto parts store and get a kit. follow the directions and you will be fine.

The throttle position sensor may be wet. Several auto parts places like autozone or murrays or o'reillys will check this for free and test the computer in your vehicle for the check engine light.
