the fuel IS cuts for:
turn key to off cuts fuel.
1: out of gas. or wrong fuel.(clogs system)
2: PCM cuts the Fuel pump relay.
3: PCM cuts the ASD relay that then does #2
4: PCM cuts fuel at injector for up to 8 reasons
that only a scan tool can see..
then there is spark causes. if gas engine.
The PCM cuts fuel with even a hint of lost spark.

there is no crash fuel line cut device.
aka. Inertial fuel cut.


this is not some old FORD with crash cut.

The air conditioning relay may be sticking. See the fuse and relay box in the engine compartment. Using the top of the box, locate the relay in the diagram. Check the relay.

you can get a steel cutting blade for a handheld circular saw and use that if you have room.. beware of the sparks also..this looks like a flat grinding wheel and runs in place of the sawblade.. it will cut through most metals..be very careful as it will spin very fast so hold slow and steady when cutting with it..

Are you shure that it isnot overheating?

There should be 8 cuts total on the key. While the door and the ignition share some of the same cuts you cannot get all the cuts from one cylinder. I believe that the door cylinder only uses 6 cuts and the ignition cylinder uses 7 cuts. The cut closest to the head of the key is #1 and the cut closest to the tip is #8. If I remember correctly the ignition cylinder uses cuts 1 - 7 and the door cylinder uses cuts 3 - 8.If the locksmith cannot decode the ignition cylinder you can try to contact you local ford dealer and see if they can find a key code and cut a key from that otherwise you may have to replace your ignition cylinder.
