SOURCE: 2002 LS: aHow do I fill radiator in my V8 Lincoln LS...

First- to drain ,you can reach the drain valve, from the pass side,if you lay on the ground and reach up to the radiator. You do not even have to raise the vehicle up
Second- mix Yellow GO5 Coolant about 50/50 or 60/40. Do not use Green in a Ford or Orange GM
To Fill- Remove the front two plastic screw type buttons, from the engine cover
-Remove the cover
The radiator cap is on the front of engine,on top,it is plastic
Remove cap and that is your fill point
Run engine to warm and get thermostat open,as you would with any vehicle
Top off coolant,replace cap
VERY IMPORTANT-next to the Power Brake Booster, and just under it,is a BLEEDER HOSE;to let air out of system. Turn screw slot ,only a little,DO NOT REMOVE SCREW. When coolant runs out close.
Fill-Degas Bottle,to full line,with coolant.
Check the next couple days on resevoir level ( Degas Bottle)

How can I bypass fan hydraulic pulley system for a 2002 Lincoln LS 3.9

It is not recommended to bypass the fan hydraulic pulley system on a 2002 Lincoln LS 3.9, as the system is an important part of the vehicle's cooling system. The fan hydraulic pulley system, also known as a fan clutch, is responsible for regulating the speed of the engine's cooling fan, which helps to keep the engine at the correct temperature.
If the fan hydraulic pulley system is not functioning properly, it could cause the engine to overheat, which could lead to serious damage. If you are experiencing issues with the fan hydraulic pulley system on your 2002 Lincoln LS 3.9, it is important to have it properly diagnosed and repaired by a qualified mechanic.
Bypassing the fan hydraulic pulley system is not a safe or effective way to address any issues with the system, and it could potentially cause further problems with your vehicle's cooling system. If you are having difficulty with the fan hydraulic pulley system, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a qualified mechanic who can diagnose and repair the issue properly.

My cooling fan on my 2002 Lincoln ls 3.9 is hydraulic and I believe it's going out.. Is it a good idea to replace it with an electric cooling fan plyz help

I can only say that if this system uses the old style oil filled fan clutch that has been used for over 50 years, the method of testing is to measure fan shaft rpm against engine rpm. When the air temp is cold, the fan clutch is suppose to slip to prevent over cooling the engine. If the fluid runs out from a leak, the blade clutch can no longer lock and you lose air flow.

The electric fan is an option, but many cars have both systems because there is just too much heat to get rid of. Room is always a problem. Some electric fans have 2 speeds, largely dependent on getting sensors to work at 2 different temperatures.

I have a 2002 Lincoln LS V6. When I turn the A/C on, it blows cold, but overheats.

The LS has a hydraulic cooling fan up until the 2003 model year. I had a heck of a time trying to find the overheating problem on my 2001 LS V-8. The degas bottles are known to split and leak . I replaced mine as it had several splits in it. That didn't help at all. The problem that causes the over heating most of the time is the hydraulic actuator solenoid that is on the hydraulic cooling fan pump on the passenger side of the engine. If you have the car running with the hood open and the a/c on hi cool, the cooling fan should be spinning very fast! The fan should make a pretty loud noise. Mine would spin but not at the high speed it should. If the actuator is not kicking on and opening the valve that allows the hydraulic fluid to spin the fan at full speed then your engine will get hot.
You can find the actuator online for under a $100. To find where it's located get under the passenger side of the car. Find the pump which is on the front of the engine. The actuator is on the side of the pump and hard to get to and see but take your time and use a good light.. Look for a wire that powers the actuator and it will lead you to it. It is a tight job to replace it but it should take no longer than an hour.

Where is the engine fan relay located on 2000 lincoln ls v6

There is no relay on the cooling fan circuit.
If the cooling fan is not operating, check fuse #105 (20 AMP), in the underhood junction box, right front of engine compartment.
If fuse is good then test to make sure fan is getting power.
If no power then could be bad cylinder head temperature sensor, hydraulic fan solenoid, a/c cycle switch or the PCM.
If it has power but doesn't come on then fan motor is bad.

the fan will turn on when the engine temp reaches a set temperature and will only turn off when the engine drops below a certain temp and on the highway running hard it may stay on longer

Is linking from a pipe that going to fan

if you are talking about a line that has a leak, then it would be a pressure hose that runs the cooling fan. on this vehicle the cooling fan is hydraulic controlled, meaning it takes fluid to run the fan
