What about saturn vue sunroof wiring ? U want a wiring diagram ? Not working at all ?
The power sunroof system consists of the following components:
• Sunroof module
• Sunroof motor with limit switch
• Sunroof switch
• Sunroof glass, tilt/slide type, with glass sliding between roof and headliner
• Sunshade
• Rail and track assembly upon which the sunroof glass rides
• Sunroof system fuse: sunroof 20 A fuse
• Ground G401
grinding along the track could mean that one of the cables are worn out. Not sure if it is a replacement part, but you can find out at a Mercedes Parts dealer.
to remove the sunroof, you will need to remove all the pillar panels in the interior (A, B and C pillars), after that you need to remove the roof panel in the interior. once you have done that you will have access to the sunroof.
the shade may be related to sunroof not closeing completely, the most common reason is the track is broken , this is the most common reason for when the sun roof doesnt close or jams when opening or closing its always the track breaks, the way to check this is to easy the headliner needs to be dropped and removed and then the glass from sunroof removed then unbolt track and drop down into car and check the track linkage and arms and track and see whats broken, note there are no replacement parts only motor or cable, as far as the parts that always break like an arm on the track this is not replaceable the track needs to be replaced, hope this helps , good luck.
The
sunroof on your Honda may not be operating correctly. The most common
problems with Honda's sunroofs is the track. This is especially true of
early 1990s Honda vehicles.
However, many Hondas use a recessed track that easily collects and
traps dirt and debris. When this happens, your sunroof may not close
and seal properly. Another minor problem is a blown fuse on some model
years of Honda vehicles. Before fixing anything, however, troubleshoot
the problem.
Open
the fuse panel. Turn the knob on the fuse panel cover counterclockwise
or push in on the release tabs on the fuse panel cover (depending on
the year of your Honda), and pull down on the fuse panel cover.
Pull
the fuse for the sunroof out of the fuse panel using the fuse pullers
in the fuse panel. Use the diagram on the underside of the fuse panel
cover if you are having trouble locating the fuse for the sunroof.
Check
the metal strip in the middle of the fuse. The strip should not be
burned or damaged. If it is, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage.
Check
the recessed track of your sunroof. Clear away any debris that may be
stuck in the sunroof's track. Use engine degreaser and a wire brush to
clean the track of dirt. Then, wipe the track down with clean paper
towels.
Apply hard grease to the sunroof wheels and track so that the sunroof can move easily once again.
sounds like something in track broke,maybe an arm.you will have to drop the inside head liner to get a good look, somtimes the whole track, this is a big job,most of the time the track has to be replaced, i havent have one yet that good be repaired always had to replace complete unit. good luck,
it sound like the gears inside the seat track are stripped out or starting to strip out. parts are not available to repair power seat tracks, the only fix is to replace the whole seat track. you can get a new one from your local GM dealer, or used from a wrecking yard.
