Have a 1985 chevy monte carlo 350 v8 need the firing order diagram. #1 is not marked on the distributor. Need to know location of #1

Have look on internet. all have 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 order but #1 is in different order. Even tried order for 307, because it would not fire up with 305 or 350 diagram

The correct firing order is 18436572. If you need the correct cylinder locations they are as follows:
Drivers side from the front 1 3 5 7
Passenger side from the front 2 4 6 8

1994 Chevrolet C 1500 5.0 liter V-8 VIN "H"

Just installed 305 in my 79 monte carlo, engine turns but will not fire.
You may have already got this, I forgot to sign in first. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, odd numbers on the driver's side and even on the passengerside. Number 1 is closest to the rad, but I need to know the year and what the engine came out of to tell you more, Like how to position the distributor and the advance. Let me know, I'll be around most of the day.
