ENGINE IN 1958 CHEV C10 TRUCK FANI8405 WHAT ENGINE IS IT

There were only three stock engines installed in 1958, a 235 cu in 6 cylinder engine, a 265 cu in V8, and a 383 cu in V8. If the engine is a 6, it's the first listed. If it's a V8, the 265 and 283 look identical, the only difference being that the 283 has a larger bore. I can't tell you by the block casting which it is.

What is the firing order for petrol engin

depends on the number of cylinders
for a 4 cylinder 1342 or 1243
for a 6 cylinder 153624
for v8 in depends if it is ford or chev as they differ
best that you go on line and google the make and model of the engine and look for firing order
It is very hard to give a better answer when you did not proving any information

Did you have the firing order diagram for 2008 dodge ram

it all depends on if you have a v6 or a v8 under the hood... v6-1,6,5,4,3,2 with number one at the front right engine cylinder and number two on the left front engine cylinder, number one on the distributor cap should be at 9 o' clock when looking at the engine from the front... v8-1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 also number 1 cylinder at the engine's front driver's side, with number 2 cylinder on the passenger side most front cylinder, number one on the distributor cap should be at 7 o' clock when looking at the front of the engine... also both distributor shafts run clockwise, so should your firing order... or ya bang...

I need a spark plug wire diagram for a 1985 gmc jimmy 350 engine

Most all Chev or GMC v8 engines use the firing order of 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. You have to find where #1 is on the distributor cap which is usually closest to #1 cylinder then looking toward the back of the engine go clock-wise to install the rest. Don't get too close to the headers. Plastic melts!

Looking for engine size, in a '65 chev Vin # 164675J110610

c17hydro_2.jpg
Sorry for this picture being so small but if you go to LMC Truck .com you can see what all the numbers and letters your VIN number stand for.

To know what size of motor you have in the vehicle, you need the LETTERS that are stamped on the engine itself. The locations are:

For an inline 6:

The six cylinder engine letters are stamped on a pad on the right side of the engine at the rear of the distributor-
230 CID 6 CYL---TA, TE, OR TG
292 CID 6 CYL---UH OR UT

For a V-8:

The V8 engine letters are stamped on a pad immediately forward of the right hand cylinder head (driver's side head)-
283 CID 8 CYL---WA AND WE

There is no 350 CID installed in '65 in the Chevy.

Also, this info is for a truck....is your question here for a truck or car?

What is the difference between the V4 and V6 engine? Which kind of engine has better fuel consumption.

The letter is the engine configuration, the number is the number of cylinders.

V is a V shaped engine.
W is basically two Vs put together
I is inline
F or H is a flat/horizontal (used by Porsche and Subaru).

There are currently no V4 engines in cars. The Inline configuration greatly increases power over the V configuration, so for tiny engines Inlines are used.

V8= 8 cylinders... lot of power..lousy gas mileage
V6= 6 cylinders..not as much power as a V8 but better gas mileage..
V4= 4 cylinders...not as much power as a V8 or V6..but gets ALOT better mileage..

Hope this a little help for you...
