I believe that light is accessed through the inside of the trunk.Remove the carpet from the back of the light housing & you will most likely find a bunch of plastic wing nuts that hold the taillight assembly on,remove them & push the housing out carefully, then the light bulb just twists out.

Check the prones inside the connector that you plug into the brake light module. You may have to squeeze, wiggle, tilt each one to see which one is not connecting all that good. I know it may sound confusing. I tried to explain the best of I could.

SOURCE: Brake lights not working

Having the sa but haven't replaces the brake switch. The owner's manual for my 99 accord indicates the the fuse is located behind a panel that is viewable when you open the door on the driver's side. There is a panel that you remove (pull off) to expose the fuses. The brake light fuse is the third one from the top on the left. 7.5 A

SOURCE: 1998 accord coupe door will

You are in a very unfortunate situation and it may be difficult to fix this without damaging at least one expensive door part. Try this first. Roll the window down. Have a person stand and shake the door back and forth as you attempt to activate the inside handle, then repeat with the outside handle. if the door does not budge you can assume the lock mechanism has become "unhooked" from the lock actuator and the door is locked. Take a metal coat hanger and fashion it into a long wire with a "hook" fashioned in the end of the coat hanger. Try to move the hanger to the area where your door lock attaches to a rod that unlocks the door and try pulling in an "easy motion" on anything you can "hook" in the area of the door lock. Do not pull hard enough to "bend" any metal rods here. They won't work well if you attempt to bend them back later and you migth have to replace any parts you bend. You can also attempt to pry loose the door panel from the inside so you can attempt to see what is broken and take corrective action but you may break the door panel and would have to visit a junk yard to replace the inside door panel. If you can find a good mechanic's manual, you may be able to view an illustration of the lock mechanism for the door and this might make your task easier. Once the door is open you will need to carefully use body tools to pry each "plug" out along the door panel edges, remove any screws in the door panel around the handle or electric switches and remove the panel to fix the broken lock mechanism. It's possilbe that something as simple as a small plastic connector holding parts together has broken off.

Your park light fuse is blown. It is in the fuse panel that's accessible with the passenger side door open (side of dashboard), labeled something like "license plate and small lights".

Headlights work, but not Instrument panel, daytime RL....

If the parking lights do not come on, they do have their own fuse, and it could be bad. This is separate from the brake lights.

But if the fuses are all good, then it could be the headlight switch. Remember the switch does the parking lights separate from the main headlights, so that you can just turn on the parking lights if you want, (Paris style). It is a feature left over from WWII, when Europeans were not allowed to run with full headlights at night, in the cities.

I have A 2001 accord coup. The two main brake not working #rd dose

Here I assume that by refering to the 3rd light which means the one in the middle works fine.If this is so then it means that your brake switch located near the pedal are working perfectly here..So next thing you need is a meter and read the voltage reading at the connection point of the wiring to both indicators or brake light connection.Hopes this gives you an idea what to do.Good luck

Tail lights n dash lights dont work

Lets start with is this a sedan/coupe or wagon?, does the car have any body damage? Fuse 32 in the underhood fuse box is for the license, parking, sidemarker, and taillights. (The turnsignals and brake lights are on a seperate circuit). There is a short to ground somewhere in the circuit. To narrow it down , if the car was damaged somewhere, look in that area. Aside from that you need to isolate the short by disconnecting connectors in the circuit. If it is a sedan, I have seen damaged wiring in the trunk on the drivers side up where the trunk hindge is. It gets pinched by the trunk hindge. It would be the red/black wire.
Let me know if that helps, Hond Al
