I have a Chevrolet Impala 2011 the driver side set used to move forwad and backwards but not up and down. While cleaning my car tonight I moved the seat forward and now it wont go backwards. It was making a clicking noise. Is there anyway to manually move the seat back.

You may have just over run the end stop , try sitting in seat and whilst pressing the back button push with your feet against the floor , this might get the seat moving again , if not i think you may be looking at getting a new switch , but get it checked by a mechanic first as there may be some other way to get it moving

2009 impala driver side power seat won't move up/down, makes whirring sound when attempted. Moves forward backward. Passenger seat works properly.

Before you do any of the expensive things disconnect and reconnect the wiring to the seat I had the same exact problem with my 2009 Chevy Impala and was ready to take it to the dealer when I disconnected the power cables to it and reconnected them I found that one of the Harnesses was loose and the problem was solved

2007 Impala power seat (Drivers Side)

I have a 2007 Impala. Thank you razor67 for the tap. I did not even remove the seat motor. All I used was an 18 inch rod and a hammer from the rear and hit the motor a couple of times and it's freed.

My power driver seat will not move foward but it will go backward

The seat has a transmission to move the seat up, down, foward , & back. Screw jacks adjust the seat up & down. Cables move the seat forward & back. The cable it seems had to break or the end of the cable has rounded out. Possibly the cable rounded out the seat it rides in the transimission housing too. You will need to remove the seat to find out

My 2005 impala is only blowing heat on the passenger side of the car, the driver side blows cold air what could be the problem

Inside the venting which is located behind the dash board panel underneath. Behind temp controls and radio. Inside this venting, is a couple different flaps that move to direct air to different locaitons of the car when you change the temp settings. THe flaps can get stuck or the little actuator that moves it can become faulty and will not move the air flap. You will have to manually take apart the venting system and ind the flap and actuator and see if you can manually move it. Check actuator to make sure it is not cracked or leaky or disconnected.

Both wipers will barely move 2000 impala there was a lough pop when they were working and now the passenger side does not move and the drivers side moves about half way

sounds like the motor is dying and needs to be replaced... that pop you heard was either the linkage coming apart on the passenger side... or the motor again.
