with the switch on, do you have power at the motor! if there is no power then switch has to be bad. have a good day ! it pretty much has to be the switch. Just buy one from your local auto parts place, and if it doesnt fix it just take it back and get your money back . have a good day !!

I would say that the wiper motor arms have jumped off and you have to take the rill right under your windshield off and snap the wiper motor arm back on to the wiper motor and then put the grill back on there and then you are all set to use them again.

Sometimes when a car does that ,Means you need a new motor.

The only other thing left is the switch,or the intermitent part of the circuit board on the wiper motor assy. Check the plug in connection,and the motor by tapping on the motor while on the lower speeds setings. Does the wipers park correctly when turned off??

YOU HAVE A DEFECTIVE LIMIT SWITCH IN MOTOR.YOU WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THE WIPER MOTOR.

Hi, you wont be able to move the wipers manually as they will be locked by the motor. There is only two obvious reasons why the motor should fail again. The new motor was a poor quality replacement or there is an underlying problem on the car like the wiper motor mechanism has excessive play or is stiff/tight and over working the motor causing it to fail. you need to have a proper check over before swapping it again.

My 2005 Malibu Maxx the motor works but the wiper arm barely moves

I had this problem (wipers only work on high) with my 2002 Chevy Malibu and had to replace the 6 amp diode (22059733) on the wiper control board. It is connected to the back of the wiper motor and is held on by 3 torx screws.
