Check both ends of both the Positive and Negative battery cable to the block and the starter. It also may be a bad ignition switch. Check the ignition switch connection to the starter as well. It could be as simple as the IGNITION Fuse (Power) in the fusebox

My 97 accord has always ran with no problems. I recently replaced the battery and it started and drove fine for 3 months. After not driving it for 1 week, the car is dead, not even an inside light and...

If the battery is completely dead, you'll need to slow charge it for a few hours before trying to use a jumper battery. And you could have something shorted to ground in the car that drained the battery in the first place.
Try disconnecting the battery cables and using a battery charger to bring the battery back to life first.

Car will not start

this doesn't sound good at all. if you couldn't jump start it within a few minutes, you should have stopped right there. maybe you were jumpping the car wrong, from doing so, you may have fried the computer, that rounds your entire engine. try installing a new battery, if any codes were stored in the computer, clear them out. some times just removing the battery cables for a few minutes will do this . sometimes not. try to start the engine. donot jump start, see if will start on its own. if not, seek professional help, keep blaming goodyear until you get results !!!!!!

i would say thats a good idea, if you got an extended warranty! from most of the symptoms i would say it sounded like your alternator was hooped. the clicking from the dash...if it's coming from the engine side it sould be your solinoid which clicks back and forth to open and close the circuit to send the signal for the started to crank when you turn the key. why it would be on when everythings is off and then shut off when you open the door i don't know. sorry i couldn't more (if any) help

Car won't start

Either an interior light or head lights were left on all night, or there's a dead short in the electrical system, or... the battery completely failed internally such as a weak spot or defect in the plates. At any rate, it all obviously points to the battery. Replace the battery.
