SOURCE: where is the heater control valve located in 2000

I have a 2002 jeep liberty and the check engine light stays on constantly. I ran the codes on it which said that it was the gas cap, but that was not it. I have changed it twice. Also, the A/C and heater does not work on it. What could be the problem?

SOURCE: The heater in my 2000 wrangler does not work.

You will see a round plastic blower motor housing underneath the passenger dash approximately 6-7 inches round, plug the connector back into it and you should be good to go.Let me know if it works for you or if you need further assistance

Ford Focus 2000. Blower not working at all. Switch burnt out and removed. Tested connections showing 12.5 volts on both terminals at blower motor. Should one be an earth?

The green with orange trace comes from fuse F64 30amp. battery junction box. The black with red trace goes to a splice , S24 . from there it changes color to black with blue trace which goes to the blower motor resistor and it also has from the splice a black with orange trace that goes to the blower switch . The switch provides the earth . On high speed the switch directs the current path to ground from the black with orange trace . All the other speeds come through the resistor to ground through the switch . At the connector for the blower switch the black wire is the ground or earth ,how ever you look at it. The switch being burnt indicates high resistance (loose connection ) maybe. Voltage drop test the electrical circuit .

I cut my stock stereo harness and want to hook up a aftermarket CD player but I can't get any power

Power comes from 2 spots. Usually the orange wire(B+) goes to memory. You have to splice into an ignition on wire to power the radio. I splice from the A/C controller.

Bosch 02 sensor downstream on a 1996 Jeep grand cherokee 4.0 motor. I have no wire harness to match the colors to. bosch has two white, one grey and one black. Jeep has orange/green,black/brown,black/blue...

The two white are the heater
The black the ground
The gray the O2 Sensor output,
you back probe to check Voltage
& Switching Times

The vehicle wiring harness does not have to match
the sensor, BUT -- you need to have the same
connector on the sensor

If you have a universal cut & splice, you have junk,
and we given the wrong part

Get a Bosch or NGK, OEM sensor & just
plug it in

Heater fan not working in a 1996 Chevy S-10

I looked at wiring diagrams at bbbindustries: the orange wire to the 20 amp htr fuse is direct from the ignition switch. You might check: that orange wire splices to the 10 amp brake fuse (fuse #12). check if that also has any voltage problems.
There are two black fusible links that supply power to the ignition switch. the fusible links come from the battery junction block.
