I changed my oil in a 2006 mustang, auto transmission, and refiled with 8 qt transmission fluid. oil started dripping out of the front bell housing.. what could be wrong?

Check to see if it is transmission oil or engine oil. If engine oil then the crankshaft oil seal needs to be replaced. If it is transmission oil, your torque converter maybe leaking. Before doing anything major try checking the hoses that connects from the transmission to the radiator. They could cracked or leaking. Some transmission use oil coolers and ATF filer on the transmission case itself. Check if they aree properly tightened.

Blew an oil line while driving. replaced it, added oil. car started right up prob is auto trans would not engage in any gear. no previous problem. does low oil press affect the trans??

Blew an oil cooler line or a transmission cooler line? Low transmission fluid would keep it from moving. Trying to drive it to long with transmission fluid about empty, would burn up the transmission. Oil pressure won't affect the transmission.

I think I added too much transmission fluid to my car. Will that damage anything? Is there anything I can do about it?

To much oil in the transmission ( auto)will cause frothing of the oil and overheating problems, along with slipping and changes problems
If you filled it through a dip stick tube then find a shop that has an oil syringe ( probably an auto transmission shop) and place a tube down the dip stick tube and suck out the excess oil
failing that you can remove a transmission cooler line from the side of the transmission and let it drain out

I have a 2005 toyota corolla and need oil change

If auto you refill through the auto dipstick, If manual you will find a plug approx 1/3 - 1/2 way up the side of the g/box. The engine oil drain plug will be infront of the gear box (should be a 14 mm bolt) located on the engine sump.

GM transmissions are sealed so there is no filler hole
take it to an auto transmission specialist and have them check the fluid level and pump in more oil if needed
while you are there have them fix the leak

Was it a new manual transmission? If it was used, you may have gotten one with some wear on the bearings. There is only one place to put transmission into the transmission. Are you using the correct grease for a manual transmission?

The gears are slipping on my 1.9 tdi auto passat ??

this procedure is not recommended, first of all it is not gear oil. it is automatic transmission fluid. this is why VW has made it difficult for the incorrect fluid being added. also the fluid is added from the bottom of the transmission and is only added if the transmission is at a certain temperature.

2001 F-250 Super duty V-10 small amount of oil in radiator

oil in a radiator indicates that the transmission oil cooler in the radiator tank has failed and leaking transmission oil into the radiator
there are 2 possible fixes
fix one is a new radiator
fix 2 is to give the radiator oil cooler a miss altogether and opt foe an air cooler mounted in front of the radiator
the advantages here are that the radiator then has a bigger capacity to handle the engine heat as there is no hot transmission oil adding to the engine heat
the second advantage is that the transmission oil is being cooled to ambient temp and not engine temp which makes for longer transmission oil life
the disadvantage is that it cost a bit more than a radiator initially but the long term savings are real
oil to air oil coolers are available from auto transmission shops and quality auto spares shops
