"This CD player will accept 4 -3/4 inch (12 cm) discs
only. The use of other sized discs may damage the
CD player mechanism."
get error codes
?
see in book above.? page 142?
or hot code?
must be a single player no mention of cd magazine loading, unloading.
some cars 2004 just began to work with any CDR disk
and some even skipped, or flaky.
even heads that say it work, ive seen new cars in 2004 not work on all CDR media !!! fact.
lets be clear
you can take a store CDDA burn it to CDR using same CDDA format, say 12 songs max.
and some early CD playes in car work.
and most not if MP3, (this year 2004 is cusp years)
see?
all my car play, usb with 1000s MP3.
CD are dead now,,, (thank gawd)
your new car had this.....
id say the RBK runs CDDA only
and my run perfect CDR copies of CCDA,(mirror copy)
the spec page, shows
"CDR playback capability "
that means only using CDDA format on CDR works
if jammed, was disk a 12cm size? not tiny disk.
was disc put i backwards,
or with omg labels falling off.
pull radio fuses (up to 3)
and put back in 1min
and eject again.
if it dont eject, it must be taken apart.
not coming out is bad deal
even wrong CD(not cracked) must eject.
id unplug fuses to CD player, and count to 30 put back see if eject works
if not , it must be dismantled to cure it.
do many, too many,,,,, many times after 12 years the insides are full of junk and jam..
old cd players, do that.

I had this happen on my Ford. I used a blank CD and pushed it partially into the slot to push the stuck disc back in. At the same time, pressing the eject button. I ruined the disc that was in there (scratched badly) but it did eject in the end.
a good trick if done gently.
but can make it worse if user forces it too hard.
