Radio stations do not tune in properly. Can sometimes change station with the dial and it remains transmitting the same static sounding song as if you never changed the station. Other times you can get station to change but usually you have lots of static.

I disconnected the amp and ran jumper wires for the proper speakers (two wires per speaker eight total) . Basically I bypassed the amp now all speakers work and sound fine.

It sounds like the antenna wire may have come loose from the radio or the antenna - would be worth checking. Just remember, if you can't get in behind the radio, and you have to pull it, don't disconnect the wiring harness, or you'll need an unlock code to make the radio work again.
