yes it does, how ever if you are removing batter longer than 24 hrs you will need to plug a 9volt batter threw the cigarette lighter to prevent the comp. from totally deprograming it self. some times it will but in30 % of the time the computer will need flashed after reinstall batter for it to work again. if you don't keep 9volt constantly running to the computer.

If there is not enough battery power to run the onboard computer it will just shut down .try to recharge it or replace it check altenator,grounds,belts, pulleys.
