SOURCE: 2000 Buick Lesabre runs like ****

Sounds like a bad spark plug or spark plug wire arching out causing an engine misfire.

SOURCE: 1996 buick LeSabre runs rough at 50 mph

Sounds like low fuel pressure. i.e. fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, or fuel filter.

On my 2000 buick lesabre, when I am going 70 - 80 mph and I hit the brakes the car shakes badly. I have read that this car has had tie rod problems, rotor problems and overall steering assembly problems....

if your vehicle shakes when you apply the brakes, your rotors are warped or worn. Replace the brakes and rotors!!Steering system will not cause this!!

My 1990 Buick Lesabre shakes at 40 mph what do I do?

Check front engine mounts. Open hood, hold brake pedal down, put car in drive, press gas pedal down a little and see if engine jumps up due to a broken mount.

At 40 mph the car starts to shake. It last to 5o

I have this same car with exactly the same problem. Begins shaking at 40mph and stops shaking as soon as you let off the gas, but then begins again as soon as you press on the gas and smooths out as you get over 50. And the shaking is not felt through the steering wheel. Solution: Replace the transmission mounts. There are two of them, one on each side mounted on the frame right next to the shock strut. There is also a front and rear engine mount, but I replaced the two as described and shaking is gone.

Shakes side2side under acceleration at 38-48 mpn only

Talked to Buick/GMC mechanic at the dealership claiming everyone was giving me different answers/things to replace. He said undoubtedly it was cv joint/half shaft. Changed driver's side, that fixed it. Another give away was it wasn't as bad when car was cold, but got worse as it drove a few minutes, i.e. everything got hot, expanded and therefore was looser.

The main clue was it wasn't RPM specific, bearings were okay and I didn't feel it in steering wheel so much as the whole car in a given RPM range despite gear (not the engine or front end of tranny, i.e. torque converter. Rotating tires had no effect.
