Trying to put on a performance chip
SOURCE: cant find the iat sensor on 91 s10
The IAT or MAT sensor (as equipped), is a thermistor (resistor which changes value based on temperature) mounted either in the air intake snorkel or the manifold (depending on the application).

Look near your A/C system and under the overflow hose for the coolant. It is a round can looking thing with a small wiring harness attached on top. There rae 3 hex screws holding it on to the bracket. Remove these and slip it off of the air intake tube. Use a small screwdriver to depress the small latch on the inside of the harness and gently pull it off. Disassemble the MAF sensor from the mounting plate, remove it from the vehicle and spray the wires with carburetor cleaner several times. That should clean it up for you. Good luck and let me know if you need more info.

Yes. That is exactly it. The Air Intake Temp Sensor is built into the Mass Air Flow Sensor on the Air Filter Box. Below is a picture...
I personally have not connected one of these Chips to a Tahoe...What I can provide you with, is the Connector Diagram so you know exactly what Wires you need to Splice in to. See below...
I hope this helps you. If you have any more questions or need any more diagrams, please don't hesisitate to ask...Thanks again, JShreader.

The IAT sensor is most of the time located along the intake tube right after Between the throttle body and MAP sensor. Just follow your air intake tube from your air filter housing to the Throttle body.
Good luck.
